On a beautiful summer day, last August, TSN (The Sports Network) came to town. They were traveling coast-to-coast doing broadcasts from small towns. Outlook had won the contest to represent Saskatchewan and so our beautiful riverbank became the setting for one of them. It was amazing to see all the truckloads of equipment and personnel that were required for that one broadcast. Much of the town came out and there was a real festive atmosphere and they knew how to put on a show and get everybody whipped up. Everywhere you looked there was Saskatchewan Roughrider green on everyone and the hosts got into it by pulling on Roughriders shirts themselves. I had grabbed my camera and headed down there. Some people, when they saw my camera with the great big lens on it, wondered if I was there in some sort of official capacity. I was just there because I couldn't let an opportunity like that pass. I was like a kid in a candy store and I got some fun pictures. Here are some of them.
