So here I am, over a month after the fact, blogging about the “See the Light 2009” Annual National Convention of PPOC (Professional Photographers of Canada) at the Delta Regina hotel. I’m a bit ashamed about taking so long, but I’m new to blogging. I need better work habits when it comes to this blogging thing. I learned a ton and met a lot of great people but I didn’t take any pictures! None worth posting anyway. What kind of Photographer goes to an event and doesn’t take any pictures? One who spent too much time looking at everybody else’s. There was so much to take in! Presentations from some of the best Photographer’s in the world. All kinds of great photography on display. You can see some of the best on the PPOC website (Look in Galleries). I saw a presentation and took a workshop from one the this country’s finest, most innovative wedding Photographers, Amina Wojcik (now Moreau) of Stillmotion Photo and Cinema. I met some Great people like Brian Zinchuk , Milton Taylor of Imagery Illustrations and Richard Jenkins. I also had a chance to get reacquainted with such fine folks as Stuart Kasdorf and Grant Romancia. I hope to get to know them better in the years to come. I could go on and on but I’ll stop here.
